Traditional is good.
Roast sirloin of beef with rosemary roast potatoes (rosemary picked from the garden), glazed chantenay carrots, french beans and mangetout in red onions served with a red wine sauce.

Followed by apple pie. After many
trial versions, I have found the best way is to serve it like this, with a crisp pasty top. That way you get more fruit and less pastry, so the result is much lighter.
